Meet the Pastors

Pastors Roy and Valerie Hartwell met and married while attending Rhema Bible Training Center in Broken Arrow Oklahoma.  Prior to Rhema, Pastor Roy graduated from the University of Washington as an Electrical Engineer and Pastor Valerie earned her nursing degree in Denver Colorado. Upon graduation from Rhema they were led of the Lord to Washington to pioneer a church. Between them they have 5 children and 9 beautiful grandchildren.

With hearts to see those that don't know Christ come to know Him in a real and powerful way,  they minister with an emphasis in the absolute necessity for Christians to develop an genuine relationship with the Lord by the power of the Holy Spirit. They preach a message of bold faith and trust in a good God who wants all people saved, delivered, healed and prospered in every area of life.  Christians that truly love the Lord and know him intimately by His Spirit will do everything within their power to tell others about Christ, get involved in the local church and help build the kingdom of God. This is what they preach, teach and practice.

By the divine direction of the Lord, Pastors Roy & Valerie were moved to Olympia in September of 2001 right after 9/11. Their mandate from the Lord is to raise up a strong body of believers that are strong in God's Word, unashamed of the power of the Holy Ghost and desires to see the move of the Holy Spirit in their midst. 

Pastors Roy & Valerie are not looking for decision cards for Christ, but for heart rending, uncompromising decisions for Christ that will forever change people's lives.
